Artist's Description
Photographed in high key infrared, Lambert Castle was built in 1892 as the home of Catholina Lambert, the owner of a prominent silk mill in the City of Paterson. Constructed in the Medieval Revival architectural style, Mr. Lambert's dream was to build a home reminiscent of the castles in Great Britain that he remembered from his boyhood years. Lambert Castle, originally called Belle Vista, is located within the Garret Mountain Reservation in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1892 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 3, 1976.

Welcome! Anthony has a passion for capturing unique and creative images. Proud to be a Featured Artist on Fine Art America! Anthony's passion for photography started over 35 years ago when he first bought his ..and still favorite film camera, the Nikon FM2n. He attended college courses in photography, and even taught a few classes. He believes the person and not the camera creates the photograph. He enjoys photographing all types of things, from capturing the moment of impact of a water drop, capturing infrared scenes ,or photographing people and pets. Being out in nature and the great outdoors, capturing moments in time is addicting. Anthony currently use's Digital Nikon DSLRS and Film SLR's. Enjoy the photos. Thank you to all who have...

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Thank you Calvin!
